Withdrawal from the Purchase
Customers of the Webshop are entitled to the right of withdrawal according to Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26) regarding contracts concluded between consumers at a distance, which can be exercised within 14 calendar days following the receipt of the product.
The Customer may withdraw from the contract without justification within fourteen (14) days following the receipt of the product (or, if the product has not yet been received, from the day the contract was concluded). In the case of a written withdrawal, it is considered to be within the deadline if the Customer sends the withdrawal notice before the deadline expires. The right of withdrawal can be exercised under the following conditions:
In the event of withdrawal, the Customer is required to return the product to the Webshop in undamaged condition within 14 days following the notification of withdrawal. The Webshop will not accept products sent back with cash on delivery. The cost of returning the product must be borne by the Customer unless the Webshop has undertaken to bear this cost, and the product cannot be returned as a postal shipment. Furthermore, if the Customer terminates the contract after the performance has begun, they must reimburse the Webshop for a fee proportional to the service rendered up to the time the termination notice was communicated; this amount should be based on the total consideration agreed upon in the contract, increased by tax, unless the consumer proves that this amount is excessively high—in which case market value must be taken into account.
Termination of the contract after performance has begun is particularly considered if the termination by the Customer occurs after the Webshop has handed the product over to the courier service for delivery, but the Customer has not yet received the product. In such cases, the fee proportional to the service rendered up to the time of termination notification consists of the actual cost incurred in relation to the courier service (delivery fee), and in addition to the delivery fee, the costs of returning the product will also be borne by the Customer if the Webshop has not undertaken to bear this cost, and the product cannot be returned as a postal shipment.
The Customer can report a withdrawal request via email or in writing by post, as well as in person. The withdrawal notice can also be communicated using the form set out in Annex 2 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26) or in any other unambiguous manner without formal constraints.
